Once both parties feel understood by you as the mediator/conflict professional, what comes next? This webinar revisits a powerful step in the conflict resolution process: helping the parties demonstrate understanding of each other.

Through a live demonstration and discussion, we’ll explore why this shift matters, when it’s appropriate to introduce it, and how the principle of mutuality of vulnerability helps structure the exchange so no one feels exposed or taken advantage of. We’ll also look at common risks and how to manage them.

By the end of this webinar, you will be able to:

  • Guide parties in demonstrating understanding of each other’s perspectives
  • Apply the principle of mutuality of vulnerability to structure that exchange safely
