All day training focused on the theme of patience, developing it, dealing with impatience, understanding its value, and exploring our relationship to it in our personal lives, in the office and in the world.

The focus of our SCPI program is to teach conflict professionals to access their inner lives in ways that are constructive for the professionals and productive for their clients. 

The focus of this day will be how to escape the trap of other people and ourselves expecting us to know the answer, to use it to tell people what to do. We'll explore the insecurity that can accompany not knowing and liberating ourselves from our and our clients conceptions of this role.

As conflict professionals, we are constantly living in a world of accusations, blame, and attack, in which we can often find ourselves caught up, confused and reactive. In this program, we'll take a deeper look about what that is about for us and how we might free ourselves of at least some of the traps which can engulf us.

Particularly in these times, we need to find ease when the whole world around us seems to going haywire. How do we find that ease in the most trying of circumstances with our clients, ourselves and the larger world?

In this program we’ll focus how to work with difficult people , recognizing, finding compassion for and helping them escape the traps they may find themselves in. We will also learn about our own identities and tendencies often perilously close to the people we find most difficult.

Our SCPI (Self Reflection for Conflict Professionals Intensive) monthly meetings are the opportunity to convene with other conflict professionals and explore how what is happening inside of us impacts our professional and personal lives.  Each meeting will include self reflection, discussion, and working through actual cases and challenges brought by the participants.  The meetings will […]

In this program we’ll learn about how we can work with distrust between parties and of us as well. We will explore what we can do with ourselves to create and/or increase trust when distrust is rampant.
