The Center for Understanding in Conflict’s training programs are enduring, not just because the Understanding-Based approach resonates with many people, but because our programs are impactful experiential education, carefully designed and skillfully taught.

In 2022, we formed the first Teacher Training program to deepen and broaden our teaching capacity, improve our ability to serve program participants, and support CUC community members in developing the skills to teach the understanding-based approach to mediation. This year, we are excited to announce the Advanced Teacher Training Schedule for 2023 and extend an invitation to cohort members from last year to apply.

Only trainees from the previous training program are eligible to apply. We will form a new cohort in 2024 for those seeking to begin their training experience.
